Artist Statement

2 & 3/4 Dimensions

It is truly unique blurring the boundaries of two dimensional and three dimensional arts. My work is designed to alter space by utilizing the fusion of painting and pottery. Exploring the many levels of the work challenges you to take an interactive perspective. The installations transform when viewed with different lighting and angles, depicting a whole new persona.

In the new millennium it seems as though we are losing the importance of color. Walls are painted white and houses painted beige. The integration of bright bold colors brings warmth and excitement to public and private enclosures.

Expanding the realm of abstraction, color and form the works are created with paint, wood, and clay. Using a progressive curving line the viewer’s eye perpetually dances about the undulating shapes. These multi-dimensional installations are unique and will forever be one-of-a- kind works.
